Stakeholder mapping is an important process that allows us to become fully conversant with the key people and organisations that are relevant to our client’s business and that can influence outcomes.
Before implementing a communications strategy on behalf of a client, it is vital that we have a complete understanding of the various stakeholders who are important to the successful implementation of that strategy.
We sit down with the client and complete a thorough appraisal of the various stakeholders, their objectives, their importance to the client’s business, the nuances of doing business with them and the manner in which they can assist in helping to achieve the client’s business objectives.
Once the stakeholder mapping exercise is complete, we start engaging with each stakeholder.
It is our strategic approach to get to know each stakeholder, to work with them on behalf of the client, and to understand what their objectives are in the context of the client’s aims and ambitions.
The overall objective is to ensure that all stakeholders are supportive and that an integrated approach to achieving best outcomes is arrived at.
