Michael Keane has sadly passed away this morning surrounded by his family.
We have lost a great colleague and Jenny has lost a loving husband and Aoife, Simon and Michael Jnr has lost a fantastic dad.
Michael was a fearless journalist who put his life on the line in Northern Ireland when he roundly condemned the IRA's no warning bombing campaign. A man of integrity and courage, we will miss him very much.
